last night i was watching tv and an ad for 118118 came on saying you can text them any question you want and theyll answer... as i was bored i decided to test this out and asked them who killed asmodean, they replied;

"noones's really sure, but Brandon Samderson, the writer slated to write the final book, has stated that he intends to reveal the killer"

lol i thought this was great, didnt think it would work! btw if they take too long to answer your question you get a refund on your text, which i did. try it out, see if ya can come up with a questin they cant answer on time!

Wow, that's so cool!

A UK number Thorum. :) Like a random 'Call and ask a question' and they'll find it out for you thing.

Awesome, you can use your phone to ask someone else to do a Google search for you. :P

Glad to see this idea spontaneously jumps in someone else's mind as well

You really want to know? *laugh*

My guess is that they Googled it:

http://www.google.com/search?q=Who+killed+Asmodean

Which linked them to the Wiki article:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asmodean

And they found their information in the "Whodunit?" section (note the end):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asmodean#The_.27Whodunnit.27

Evidence:

From the phone: "noones's really sure, but Brandon Samderson, the writer slated to write the final book, has stated that he intends to reveal the killer"

From the Wiki: "Brandon Sanderson, the writer slated to complete the final book in lieu of the now-deceased Jordan, has stated he intends to reveal the killer."

... one text with the question, verses one text with the question and a request, and then the following of three links.. call me apathetic but..

You mean one text message with the question (and usually pay for it) versus a quick Google search and Wiki skimming (always for free)? ;D

All of this, of course, ignores the fact that it was a really fun question to pose to the service. My hat's off to Phantom-Semi. *laugh*
