Hey! I´m a newbie, but once I get home from Nicaragua (in three weeks) I´ll be more than willing to RP with you lots =) Mucho gusto! And welcome back!

no but it takes generaly more then 1 day to be raised to full rank, and you cant bond before your full rank ;)  so i was like going, 4 years how in the ...did they pull that off :S

I pulled it off in five days >_>

Lol, at the pace I was going it would have taken five days to be fully raised, but since trainee to TG is two years IC, doing that leaves no room for all of the character development that was supposed to happen in your trainee years. I want to spread out in my trainee years, meet some sedai, some trainees, some guards, make some connections with people, make friends, make enemies, ext.

Well, there wa snever any real doubt as to whom my Aes Sedai would be, so my main goal was to get to TG as quick as possible so we could get on with RPing the things we wanted to do.

Of course I thought Trainee to TG was longer ICly when I was training... you know, back in the dark ages.

well as you needed numerous classes when i was a novice of which one was the wt and world thingy (it was mandatory), and they generaly ran them one at the time (like wt and dm world in the org), with each lesson of the class being open for a week to reply to before the next was posted...and i think it was 4-5 lessons

you generaly if you where lucky and got into one imidiatly could get raised in a months time if you where quick enough

so something must have drasticaly changed from you guys was raised till i was new, cause it was just not practicaly posible to find teachers to get through the classes you needed in that amount of time when i was new (and i did speed post a lot, the waiting time between req posts from others was used on novice and trainee freetime treads or whatnot)

i belive the novice req was

finish your op scores and the question sheet

intro to saidar

wt world thingy

other electible class

doing a chore

geting and finishing the ooc/ic interview thingy

and it generaly took a few days just to get a mentor asigned which was the person you normaly would do intro with

nope not posible to do it back then, not fat chanse finding the rigth people and geting them to post fast enough to get through it all :S

and training ic took 2-3 years minimum, as well as having reatched age 18 i think, so if you started at 13 you had to do 5 ic years, and as you had to finish one req and get that aproved before starting the next :P forget about finishing up in a couple days in the yard either

seriously sounds like i joined half a year late...cause i remember those intiate days as frustrating weeks of trying to get things done having to wait all the time to progress in the rigth acordance or whatnot

It was all about having the right person to work with... I had a mentor who didn't mind bending the rules a little bit... the system was still the same as what you joined under, I just worked the system.

lol, i actualy changed mentor midways through because he couldnt keep up with me ;)

Hm, I{m not going to argue with you. Personally I think that even though it would be cool to blow through Trainee days, they´re there for a reason, and I want to take my time to develop my character realisticly. But like I said, I´m not gonna argue with you. ;)

Good, to each their own. I had done similar training regimens elsewhere, and the thought of muddling through another one just drives me nuts.

lol when you done X numbers of them then they start to get old, specialy if you dont like the general reqs as rp opertunites
