Aragorn

 

Saw these and thought the banders would get a kick out of them.  There were some scenes I was not familiar with.  Like the scene right after Eye of the Tiger ends where Aragorn holds the sword up to the eye and drops Arwyn's necklace.  Are these from the special edition box sets?

 

 

I have no idea, I have all the films individually.

 

Funny stuff though, I like the Legolas one. :D

The "eye" is actually the Palantir... ;) With the eye looking out of it.

Why won't YouTube ever work for me?  I really want to see these!!

Is it blocked?  I have had lots of problems with it being slow, or not working...occasionally I even get what looks like a programmers screen on it.

It's not blocked, it just constantly won't load the video and then it tells me that "This video is no longer available" even though I know it is.  Why does it lie to me?  *wails*   ;)

 

Ok, I was persistent this time and just kept reloading them and they finally worked!!  *drools over Aragorn*

Narsil was the sword's name, Anduril is its name when Aragorn has it :D

Yeah, it would be, but I am finishing up a 10+ book series and getting ready for a WoT reread.  ;)

Okay 12th refresh me in the movies he goes with Arwen at the end.....am I hallucinating when I recall him going with Eowyn in the books?

aye you are ;) He chose Arwen in the books too, as a matter of fact, he had NO love interest for Eowyn in the books, though she did for him. :)

Hmmm, definitely time for a refresher....I haven't read the books since before the movies came out. 

hehe yes well, I'm one of those who rereads them constantly ;) :P

Eowyn and Faramir came together in both the books and the film though if irc there is more detail about their relationships in the books and only a fleeting reference to it in the film.
