Liitha was happy to be back from the bligth as she rode through the grove having wisited that special place she felt so conected to her mother at. The mare for once seemed totaly calm, it must be the place where they where at, it was so peacefull here.

Back in the yard she took the sadle of the horse and brushed her down with some straw before puting her into the stable again. Walking up to her room in her own thougths she descided she would hit the city for dinner this evening. Maybe she would meet some old mintees, the last one she had was before going to the bligth, a boy Kopair, she hoped he had done okey.

Liitha wrung of her clothes and washed the sweat off before puting on new clean black pants and a ligth pink top with silverblue embroideries. She cleaned her boots and polished them before puting them back on. Then looked into the mirror as she brushed her hair with long strokes, she didnt look to much the tower guard now, it would do. Smiling she grabed a jacket leaving her weapons behind, tonite she would be just another women having dinner on her own in an inn, well apart from the one dagger she hid in her left boot, it would be enough for any need that should arise.

She folded the jacket over her arm as she walked down towards the city, there was no need for it yet, the tatoo on her shoulder showing didnt bother her. It was something she had done some years back still strugeling with herself over mathers in the past.

Walking down to the doc she chose to visit the river lady again to have a good fish meal, chosing a table off to one site she ordered a botle of white wine and a cod dish. Siting back she nipped to the wine as she watched the inn fill up while waiting for her food.

Jaydena leaned back from her desk and sighed as Coran massed the sore muscles in her neck. She groaned her pleasure and laid a hand over his. Standing up she towered over him and she gave him a smile and a quick peck on the cheek as she thanked him. Being ajah head wasn't everything it was cracked up to be and she was fairly worn out from all the paperwork, she had thought she had done alot as Sitter but now she was doing all her old work plus ajah head duties. "I'm going to go out to dinner Coran." She saw him open his mouth and she spoke, "By myself Coran, I don't need you and Raisa with me every second of every day. I will be fine and I will take my sword and staffs just in case." She saw him look and knew that he was looking at the graceful mask that covered the left half of her once beautiful face. She smoothed her still glossy and gray free auburn locks back and said, "Why don't the two of you take dinner at the Golden Bell, I will be next door at the Laughing Aes Sedai. At least you will be able to protect me somehow, you can even follow behind me at a distance if you want."

The relief flashed across his face and she smiled, she knew how he felt, he had come back from his trips to find her burned and in a terrible emotional state. Jade turned and making her way to her room slipped into a green silk dress with silver serpant rings across the bodice, hem, and waist. Her auburn locks which fell to the curve of her bottom were swept back with mother of pearl combs and she applied makeup to the parts of her face that weren't within the mask. When she was done and added a delicate silver chain with a rose hanging from it. She had given one of these to each of the members of the Order of the Rose, of course they didn't wear them around the Tower or anything. Mother of pearl earring went into her ears and she wore her bracelet with all the charms hanging off of it. Looking down at her fingers she saw the earth angreal she always wore, her great serpant ring and two missing rings. One was the amber ring with a marriage dagger set into it, and the beloveds bond. Loss was such a hard thing and it seemed in the last few years she had lost so much that she had cherished.

She straightened her spine and looked in the mirror, her beauty was gone but she still had the same spirit that had carried her through so much and she would get through it all. Her feet she slide into green walking boots with embroidery of roses up the sides and she cinched the sword belt and the short staffs that Seia had given her around her waist. With a flourish of her green, rabbit fur lined cloak she stepped out of the room. Her gaidin both stood there dressed in their finest and she smiled at both of them. Moving forward she walked past them and left her room, making sure to set the wards as they went. The two of them lingered feet behind her and she left the tower with a smile on her face. Checking her money purse that she had added at the last minute she stopped for a minute at one of them stores and picked up some sweets. She walked back and handed each of them one before walking on. In a booth along the street she saw a silken scarf and she stopped to admire the greens and blues. Refusing to stop herself she bought it and walked fast to the inn she had chosen. She had chosen a inn known for it's fine fish dishes as she was in the mood of seafood. Opening the door she walked in and took a seat. Jade saw the stares and heard the gasps but she didn't care anymore. Once her beauty had stopped people in her tracks and she hadn't much cared for it. Now she lived with the knowledge that she had lost that which she had always taken for granted. Ordering a ale and a plate a lemon drenched lobster, shrimp, and salmon she waited for her food...

Liitha turned to pay as the food arived and just then reconition passed over her eyes, there was an Aes Sedai there.

Paying she turned again and memories passed through her mind of the blademaster ceremony almost 2 years ago. The Aes Sedai had overseen the ceremony, she was of the green Liitha seemed to remember.

She recaled the spar with Lyv, and couldnt help throwing a glance over her shoulder again, the Aes Sedai had had a mask back then, now even with make up, the scars the mask obviously had hiden then where visible enough for a trained eye. Definantly a green she thougth, thoug she wondered what had caused those scars.

Tapping her lip Liitha tried to remember the name before taking another bite of her cod. She cast a glance without turning her head this time, she was just out on a free night, and didnt want to be recognised as belonging to the tower. Liitha sipped her wine and just then recaled the name she had heard under her ceremony, Jaydena Sedai.

Shaking her head to herself she tried to push it out of her mind, not tonight. Hopefully she had changed enough she wouldnt be recognised, with her new longer hair.

As she rose to leave and where about to pass the table Liitha found herself stoping thoug. She wasnt sure why exactly and a litle voice in her head urged her to go on, but there had been no aparent reason to stop so it would be rude.

"Hello, its not often one see someone from the tower alone. I.." she stoped unsure of what to say, cursing herself inwardly for not just leaving. "You where present at my blademaster ceremony almost two years ago." Liitha stoped speaking, there was really nothing to say and she wasnt even sure why she had stoped, she had no idea what to answer if she where asked.

Jaydena waited silently for her food and sipped the wine she had ordered. She smirked down at the drink and remembered when she had drowned her pain and sorrow in drinking. When she lounged for it and wanted it to take her away from it all. These days she had found other ways to deal with the pain. Throwing herself into her new positon had been good for her and had dragged her the rest the way out of the hole she had let herself fall into. She would never say that she was over Seia or Sirayn, you didn't just get over a love that deep and consuming but she was ready to move on. Love was something she missed at times but it was something she could live without in her life, she had to much else to worry about. The Green Ajah and the Tower was lover enough for her. Glancing around she saw a young woman watching her, the woman turned her eyes away but Jaydena thought for a moment she had seem a moment of recognition. She didn't recognize the girl and she wasn't wearing anything that would give her away as a Tower person. Her food finally arrived and she ate slowly, savoring the time away from the Tower and doing her best to not think about everything that waited for her on her desk in her new office.

With a smile she bite into another shrimp and thought about her new postion. This had been crazy since Sirayn has become their new leader but she was glad that she finally gotten the ajah head postion she had wanted for so long. She felt like she was finally complete as a person and had learned something new about herself. The power of the postion was not what she had wanted but the respect it would earn. Laughing into her cup she thought, I didn't need the respect, I already had it or I wouldn't be Sitter still. They respect me because I stick by them and the ajah and I never give up, not because of the postion. She took another bite and looked up as someone spoke, she recognized the girl that had been watching her earlier, some part of her couldn't help feeling like she knew her from somewhere, "Hello, its not often one see someone from the tower alone. I.. You where present at my blademaster ceremony almost two years ago." Jaydena smiled at the girl and hoped that the girl wasn't looking at her scars, "Well how are you doing these days, obviously you are still with the Tower or you wouldn't have approached me. Did you ever get bonded to someone?" A twinkled entered her eyes and she wondered who the girl was bonded to. She was obviously talented enough and Jade knew she was a blademaster so she must have been bonded by now.

"Well how are you doing these days, obviously you are still with the Tower or you wouldn't have approached me. Did you ever get bonded to someone?"

Liitha smiled, "Yes I am still with the tower, but no I havent bonded, the years been used for personal development, first by preparing for going to the bligth and then spending a year in the bligth similtaniously training my new horse."

Memories flashed through her mind, she would need to train some more, maybe seek back to the grove to dance with the swords, it was something that made her feel at peace.

The young woman smiled at her and Jade was suprised by how her face lite up when she just opened up enough to smile. She would have to see what she could do about getting the girl to smile more. "Yes I am still with the tower, but no I haven't bonded, the years been used for personal development, first by preparing for going to the blight and then spending a year in the blight similtaniously training my new horse." Jade nodded and then did a double take. "I am sorry to hear that you haven't found someone to bond but I think it's wonderful that you have taken so much time to get to know yourself before allowing someone into your head. A bond done to quickly is very hard on both parties." Her lips quirked and she thought of her bond to Jared, the bond had been to quick, she thought she had thought it through, but truly it had been lust and wondering how it would feel when connected by the bond.

She laughed into the cup she had picked and and wondered what she had been thinking. Jade had truly loved the man in her own way but she had long ago figured out that men didn't hold the same passion for her that women did. Jared had become extremely controlled and almost abusive in his love for her. He had without a doubt been abusive to her lover Seia and at times she thought the two of them would kill eachother, and in fact more than one time she taken them to be healed. Shaking her head she returned her attention to the young woman in front of her and remembered why she had doubletaked. "Did you say that you have been training you horse is the Blight? I must say that is very brave and such good training for your horse. My mother used to raise horses and I actually brought her prize stallion with me to the Tower, I spent years raising and training his foals in my spare time. He is long ago passed away but I still breed his children."

A bond done to quickly is very hard on both parties." Liitha nodded, she would finish what she had come for one day, but the years here also thougth her carefullness, she had learned there where many types of Aes Sedai, they where as difrent between them as any other normal persons, they in her mind just hid it bether at times. She was not sure what the other laughed about, maybe a memorie.

Liitha smiled as she hear, “something as the same as me then, my mare is the daugther of my last horse who i grew up with, he was a result of my fosters mare and my mothers horse which she in turn where gifted by her father..†Liitha wondered for a moment why she shared this info with the Aes Sedai, “..so its a link to my past in a sence.†Her voice droped as a couple memories from her childhood flashed through her mind, runing over the fields togheter with a young yaz, daydreaming of her mother on adventures on the father of yaz. Slowly she shook her head as to shake off the memories, she was not a litle girl and the world had proven it was not a perfect daydream.

“What line of breeding are your horses then, Saldean?†growing up with a horse and having it as a link in the sence she did to her past, Liitha had taken great interest in horses, she loved the animals and the bonds that could form between owner and horse. Each horse had its own personality and its own feel when you rode it.

Liitha smiled at her and Jade could feel a kindred spirit. “Something as the same as me then, my mare is the daugther of my last horse who I grew up with, he was a result of my fosters mare and my mothers horse which she in turn were gifted by her father..†Jade nodded, sometimes the best breeding was done spur of the moment. “..so its a link to my past in a sense.†Jaydena nodded, she knew that feeling well, her mother and her father were long dead and so were her brothers and sisters. In fact her brothers and sisters children and had children. They looked at her as this austere being and only gazed at her in shock when she visited with them. They didn't see her as a person like her family had, she was only the great Aes Sedai Jaydena Mckanthur. “What line of breeding are your horses then, Saldean?†Jaydena laughed, "No in fact my horses are Andorian, I know it's not very commonly heard of but they have such fine heads and a wonderful gait. I think that's why they sell so well, no one has heard of the Andorian horse lines. We should go riding sometime, it's so hard to find anyone who has a true appreciation for horseflesh."

liitha nodded in understanding, though yard trained she would have known a good horse even without her special interest in them. Smiling she replied with that in mind, "Well in my line of work it would be foolish to not care for what is beneath my legs, it surely can be the fine line of separation between life and death at times. I follow the path of dual weapons, with both hands occupied you need a beast with a smart mind at times."

Pushing back a stray hair from her face she continued, "I'd love a chanse to study your horses if the opertunity arise, there is always something to learn."

"Well in my line of work it would be foolish to not care for what is beneath my legs, it surely can be the fine line of separation between life and death at times. I follow the path of dual weapons, with both hands occupied you need a beast with a smart mind at times." Jaydena nodded, she fought most often with double short staves, which was a very rare weapon and so she understood well the need to have a well trained war horse. Her horse was an extension of her own body, she need only lean a margain to one side and the horse was quick to respond. In fact she really needed to spend more time with the horses, it felt like these days she was leaving far to much of the training to the grooms in the White Tower stables. If she didn't work with the horses, when the time came for her to go into a battle they may not know her well enough for her stay alive.

Turning her attention back to Liitha she smiled and was about to speak when the woman replied, "I'd love a chance to study your horses if the opertunity arises, there is always something to learn." Jade nodded, she remembered when she came to the Tower she had this high and mightly opinion that her mothers horses were the best and that there was nothing better than an Andor bred horse. She had been wrong and had to lower herself out of her high horse before she had made a serious mistake and insulted someone else. Smiling she spoke, "Well I am free this afternoon and evening if you are interested. I have almost finished my meal here and need to run a few more errands but I would love to see your babies, you could see mine as well, maybe we could even ride together." She nodded and waited for the young woman to answer...

Liitha nodded, she had no plans for the day.. "that should be fine, i'll be in the yard practising most likely so send a note there and i'll meet you in the stables" she smiled as she rose, it was time to take her leave, she would need to pass by her room to get her katanas if she where to practise as well, if she didnt take out the whip instead today.

Liitha spoke quickly as though she had already made up her mind, "That should be fine, I'll be in the yard practising most likely so send a note there and I'll meet you in the stables." Jaydena bid the woman farewell and finished the rest of her meal, the food really way excellent here and she would have to remember this place the next time she wanted some great seafood. She sipped her drink and asked for a bag for her leftovers, when she had those packed up she headed off to do the rest of her shopping. When she was done she had ordered a new pair of shoes, picked out some gloves for a friend, purchased some candle making supplies, and picked up the gifts for her new mintees. Making her way back to the tower, she checked the horizon and then headed in to change into a riding outfit...

ooc- should we continue with this thread or move to the White Tower????
