Hi there,

I was wondering if both of you would be willing to engage in a little RP? I've set up a rather affluent merchant in Tar Valon, named Ahdam Baraka, and I'm interested in opening trade in the East with the Aiel, and even perhaps through the Waste to whoever is on the other side :) However my character knows nothing about the Aiel, other then they've been trampling through Cairhein for these past few years. Recently he's heard that a part of Tinkers near Tar Valon might very well have had dealings with the Aiel before, and he is much interested in learning from them.

Would you both be willing to come to his mannor in Tar Valon to discuss the topic?

nods awake now and sounds like a good base idea, though they likely wouldnt know of anything being west of the waste or is it north posible rather of the waste, because so few are able to and allowed to travel the waste, only the tinkers in modern days, so shara's exsistance wouldnt be common knowledge...however it would be likely that tinkers travel into the blight trading i guess *s*

Perhaps one of the outcomes would be to convince their Tinker caravan to accompany him into the Waste, to make contact with an Aiel tribe? He's looking for information on the Aiel and has very little idea what he's wandering into, and only vague notions of Shara (silk comes from somewhere to the East is about the extent of it).

Sorry I've not been about - work has been really incredibly busy lately.  I'm liking the idea of a Tinker RP :)  I think it'd work better (and give more potential to meet others) if it were along the borderlands to the north.  I doubt there'd be much opportunity for much in the way of trade in the Blight itself.  The Borderlands were always something that is in threat of being swallowed by the Blight, so it would be an ideal (and with that edginess and danger) place for an RP. :)

Hope that helps.  We should write!

there also always is the plotline change which would mean a disturbing winter up in those countries
