Did anyone see this? I think it premiered Sunday on HBO. It's a seven part miniseries based upon the book of the same name and follows the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion during the first weeks of the invasion of Iraq. After the first episode I'm not sure whether or not I'll like it. However, it was written and produced by David Simon and Ed Burns who created The Wire, so I'm hoping it will be good.

I was sort of disappointed.  It ended and I was like "what, that's it?"  I look forward to the other episodes to see if it is gets better.

Yeah, I thought that too. I remember after seeing the first episode of Band of Brothers I had a bit of the same feeling. Hopefully it'll get better like BoB did.

It has a BoB feel which makes me want to watch the next one... whenever it comes on the tube. 

Episode two aired yesterday. I like this one a bit more. There was a lot more action in this episode. There were some scenes that were, for lack of a better word, icky. Dead girls without legs, that kind of stuff.

 

And the retarded officers are really starting to annoy me. Kinda like the commander of Easy Company in the Bastogne episode of BoB if you can remember.
