Ugh!  If only it were true!  I tried to rent it, but all the copies were gone.  For both inFamous and Prototype.  Grrrr!

There was one copy of Prototype at the local video store for the 360 and I went to rent it but my membership had expired and I couldn't afford to renew. :(

 

All you need to do is camp out at the store, and have others camp out at the other stores so when they come back. >.>

inFAMOUS is like Assassin's Creed mixed with Crackdown. Prototype...I want to play it but I can wait for 10 years even. *shrugs*

I can't believe how many games I'm waiting for.  AC2 looks like they took out all the bad stuff of the first one.  Let's hope they didn't just add in different bad stuff.

That's the only game that isn't out right now that I want. It's set for 11/17/09

I thought it was for 2010?  They pushed UP the release date?  Don't know how I feel about that.

Dead Rising 2 and FF13 are still set for 2010 though. AC2 is ahead of the curve. *nods*

Well, on the one hand, the game comes out earlier than expected, which means I can play it sooner.  On the other hand, it makes me fear that they didn't spend enough time on it.

 

For that reason, FF13 better blow us all away.  In a good way.

FF13 will blow you away in the same way all the other Final Fantasy games have blown people away.

 

Graphics.

 

And maybe story, too. Gameplay, not something that blows people away.

There's all you need to know. It look to me like they're going back to the visual aesthetic of 7 and 8. The fact that Shiva is two girls instead of one and they combine to turn into a motorcycle seems to smack of the dumber excesses of anime.

I don't take anything to heart until I actually play it.  Everything can change.
