  • 1 month later...

I am buying this just for Avenged and Disturbed. Everything else is a bonus!

I just looked at the list again and I can not wait for this to come out!

Rock Band (yes, the first) was just released in Sweden a few months back. I wonder how long it'll take for Rock Band 2 to arrive.  :-\

Wow...so many of those songs are made of win. I guess I'll be having my brother over to visit (so we can leech his Rock Band) sooner than I thought. :P

I like the fact that all downloadable content are available for both games AND you can import the songs from the first game to the second game except for a couple of songs like Enter Sandman.

Lets get the band together this time since we can go through World Tour online.  I plan to have my game as soon as Gamestop opens tomorrow.  But probably won't be hardcore playing until after my panthers game.

In this new house I'm in we've got 2 xbox's with live on the both, if they get the new rock band for it, I should be able to join you all.

My thoughts after a day of playing.

1.  You have to pay to transfer your songs from RB1 to RB2.  It is 400 MS points.  You basically download them to your hard drive.  You are paying because now you can transfer them off and burn disks.

2.  I like playing the world tour online with friends.

3.  The layout is much better for the song lists.  It lays out how difficult each of the 4 parts of the songs are which is neat when trying to pick songs that match your each individual band member.

4.  I think I like hiring band managers and etc.  I am not sure how this affects me later on in the game though.

Overall it feels like I am playing RB1 with just a few new features and songs.  This isn't a bad thing though.

My roommate got RB2 for his Xbox.  It's great and I like that there is more grunge in this version but I wish they had Bare Naked Ladies in the line up.  Maybe a download in the future.
