This almost pisses me off.. Rocky Horror remake

Featured Replies

Ok remakes are all the big hype right now.  Sometimes it sounds like a good idea but in this case... why mess with a cult favorite?  WHY!

Will I go see this?  It really depends on the reviews and trailers.  I really can not imagine this being better than the original.

MTV is planning to remake the 1975 cult classic turned cultural institution "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" reports Variety.

The new version will use the original screenplay by Jim Sharman and Richard O'Brien but may also include music not featured in the original.

The director and casting decisions have yet to be announced. The hope is for the project to be ready by Halloween 2009.

Oh great, MTV doing it...So we will get someone like Justin Dumbalake playing Rocky, woohoo...

Chances of me watching this...less than 5%.
