Hello all, I'm new, and I'd be glad to make your acquaintance.

 

I would like to eventually take the following classes/electives if possible:

-Basic Fitness

-Basic (combat) movements.

-weapon selection and care

-city survival

-basic forms

-horse riding

-reading/handwriting class if there is one(visar needs to work on this)

-and I'm cool with just about anything else, like a chore with a fellow trainee.

 

If anyone knows of a class like the above that's starting, just let me know (contact me via posting a reply, pm, MSN, or Aim) and you have my gratitude, and I'll make sure I sign up.

And if anyone just wants to rp with my character, just let me know!  Thanks all!

Basic fitness has started on the IC boards but is in progress. You may still be able to pop in though.

 

Horse riding- Our local IC (and OOC) horse expert is Jasine who is played by Quisalas Selene.

 

I think I might be able to teach basic forms, I'd have to check with Eq.

 

As for chores, they need to be approved by the MoT at warders.mot@gmail.com

let me know anything you would want Corwin to teach ya.  He's a Baldemaster that follows Flame and Void.  So let me know if you want him to help ya.

I don't think I can teach Riding until after I get my promotion to Tower Guard, but that's not as far off as my WS 3 might indicate.  One of the 8 or so threads Jasine is in now will bring him up to his Final Steps essay requirement.

 

Welcome to the yards!  Informal RP is a lot of fun, and I'm sure we'll get the chance to play together that way even if someone else teaches you riding before Jasine is raised. :)

I don't see why not, actually. I did my Basic Fitness thread with just Syl by doing a number of competitions between the two of us.

 

Jasine knows a lot about horses, so that in itself would make him capable of running a (basic) horsemanship class. He's been giving Melenis pointers as well, which basically amounts to the same thing anyway ^^

Heh, sorry Tal... I did a combined intro with Syl back when Melenis joined the Warders, and given that she's in Caemlyn again for a thread i brought it up in there. Guess something snuck into my post there, huh? :)

So, anyone interested in starting/teaching a class about weapon care and/or basic combat movements?  That's next on my list of stuff to do.

oh yeah, sorry for leaving you hanging like that but I've been busy and will remain busy this week *shakes head* bah! But tomorow (aka: 12 hours ish) I'll be posting my TG Ceremony and I can start teaching then. I'd be more than willing to teach a class about basic movements and such. :)

Alright, officially can teach, choose a class :)

Basic movements sounds good. I think it would begin on Visar's third day at the Tower, in the morning in the training yards.

Currently in basic movements, my third elective.

 

For after that, I'd like to request the following choice requirements if anyone is interested in teaching or participating with me.  These need not be done in any particular order.

 

Evaluation: Anyone want to beat Visar up silly and tell him he has stuff to work on? :p

 

Responsibility: At some point I think Visar should be tested with something semi-important, like, say, a sealed message he's not supposed to read, and have to deal with the temptation of opening it against orders.  Possibility of this happening during the Murder in the Yards thing.

 

Conflict: I'll try to meet this requirement during the Murder in the Yards rp.  Perhaps Visar will be an initial suspect and have to go through some effort to clear suspicion on his account with another two characters.  Something like that.

 

Anyway anyone want to participate on these I'd appreciate it.
