Hi all!  My name is Ravynne!  I RP'd here for quite a while but a long long time ago, and finally managed to get settled enough to make it back...  So, of course the first thing I noticed here is how different it is!  I love it but... I'm sort of lost.  So... hi then.  If anyone has any suggestions on how to get back into the groove of the RP setting here, I'd appreciate it!  Thanks a bunch!!

Why hello there, welcome back to Dragonmount. I would give you some advice, but I stick to the two discussion forums ;). I don't tend to wander around here too much.

Heya, I think I <i>might</i> recognize the handle.. not caffeinated enough right now to remember much right now, though  ;)

 

Best recommendation - keep scrolling down. No, seriously, the RP continues to be so cool, we're stashed at the bottom.  At least, that's my logic.  Divs are the OOC discussion and planning boards for the various RP groups, and we have lots of useful starter information <a href="http://forums.dragonmount.com/index.php/board,4.0.html">on this board here</a>.

Thanks!  I was originally in the White Tower, BotRH and the CotL, not like that tells you a whole lot more, right? Lol but if anyone hung around the Dragonmount rooms on mIRC, that was where I spent about... 98% of my waking hours. ^_^ Anyway, thanks for the advice.  Off I shall go to find something to join!

How long ago was that, then?  I used to spend more than my share of time in the mIRC too...

Umm... it would have been... I think between 2000 and 2002?  Sometime forever ago, anyway... I used to go by the name of Elayne on mIRC though.  It was before the... can *almost* remember the name... the Firefox Inn??  Something like that?? Probably not lol...

*chuckles*  I don't think it was the Firefox Inn, but then, I cannot remember that clearly either.  I joined in late 2000, myself... did some time in passing in mIRC between then and 2002, but I'm thinking that I didn't spend a lot of time in there until later... I'd have to manage to remember when Majsju joined the site to figure <i>that</i> out.

 

I'm guessing that you weren't Elayne in the WT then?  'Cause that was my first Novice roomie, and last I checked, she was still in Florida :)

Don't let the siggy fool you; it's Aes Sedai/Warder Swap Week. ;)  ;D  Just one of the many silly but fun things we do here on the Org side. I have no idea what they do on the RP side, besides RP. *wonders for the first time what exactly goes on over there*  :)

 

I'm sure if you asked your Ajah head, Lor dear, she'd gladly give you the skinny ;)  Or you could always wander down and investigate for yourself; it's a strangely addictive process :)

Well I think I'm going to have to do an awful lot of reading to catch up because the last time I belonged to DM the Org sites were all separate sites off of the forums, and you could only have 3 different chars in the RP forums.  And no, I haven't read through everything yet, lol, but eventually I'll figure it out... other than that I couldn't do it the first time and I still can't... sig pics and banners?  BAH!  I'm excited to look around at all the ORGs and RPs!  Wee!!!
