Well, I figured we might as well socialize. And we all seem to have at least one thing in common! We're all crazy.... and we all got CotL characters. Okay, that's two things. See, we're making progress already! ;)

 

I will go first because I have to set the example. Also because i'm so very interesting ^_^  (not... lol).

 

My name is Nurit. I'm at my second year of my first degree in biology. Rather, finishing the year... tomorrow! I aspire to be a vet, though that remains to be seen as it's rather hard/imposssible to get into the one and only vet school that exists in this god forsakened spit of land ;D

 

Anyway, I'm 23. I live in Isreal. I joined DM in 2001 and haven't left ever since. Nobody has managed to figure out why yet >.> Aside from being CotL DL I have a few other characters in the Wolfkin, the WT, SG and naturally the CotL. I'm also active(ish) in the community as well in SG and WT community. I run the Yellow ajah there and have been enjoying it immensly.

 

I'm a huge buffy fan. In the sense that i'm totally and utterly obsessed  lol

Also a big Firefly fan. I enjoy fantasy obviously. Movies (any kind, shape or form). I like Pizza a lot... and many many other things that I will not bore you further with.

My name is Rick (Everyone calls me Big Guy), and I am 49 years old.

 

I have only one RP dude here in CoTL, you can thank/blame Nyn for that..I am a Warder on the Org side and also belong to the Illuminator, Ogier and Seanchan orgs.

 

I have 4 grown kids and 5 grandchildren, my youngest has all the Buffy and Angel shows and can recite every episode line for line. I have done a lot of things in my life but to keep it brief I will only list one or two for you. I was involved heavily in Everquest for 6 years but stopped playing this winter. I also play Fantasy RPG's on my Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and Playstation besides on PC. I read as much as I can with Robert Jordan, David Eddings, Terry Brooks, and R. A. Salvatore as my favorite Authors.

 

I love Pizza and Burritos (When I was in the Navy thevendor who cam to our barracks had Pizza Burritos, it was heaven)..sadly my diet now will not fit them in.

 

 

I'm 29 years old, and i live in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. My hobby is roleplaying -- which would explain the large amount of characters -- and it's no surprise to the people that know me that i keep up the same posting habits i do here on a number of other forums.

 

I don't smoke, and i drink only on rare occasions. I've never been drunk myself, but my characters have. In a roleplay, one of my pet peeves is having something happen that makes no sense (be it realism or setting), and i check back on wikipedia to read up on things i'm planning before actually doing them. When i write up a profile, i usually have about six or seven tabs open for that specific purpose.

 

My love for RPing doesn't stop at forums, however, and my favorite games are RPGs. I like character depth, but am a strong supporter of that good characters write themselves, so i really don't know where they ultimately end up myself.

 

Despite weighing over 220 pounds, i am not fat, nor is anyone in my family (Yay genetics!), and given that i go to work by bicycle and working in a convenience store means walking around a lot, i can afford to waste my entire weekend staring at a computer screen when it comes to my health ^^;

 

I can be quite a prankster at times -- though, like TR Mat, there are times when i really shouldn't -- but as long as it doesn't involve destruction of property...

 

One thing of note however is that i'm a firm hater of rap music and the whole 'gangsta' scene spawning from deep inside its bowels. Despite not being quick to anger, things like that usually annoy me at sight.

I'm 17 years old and live in a small town in the middle of nowhere in western Canada. I have 1 semester left before I graduate (I homeschool) and then I plan to move to Alberta to work before college starts.

 

I enjoy reading, video games (in RPG, fighter, and Misc genres), swimming, listening to music, browsing my 8+ WoT sites, and many ther things.

 

I am the youngest of 4 siblings, all boys and I grew as an only child because my brothers were all 10+ years older than me and had moved out before I remebered much of them in the house.

 

I love animals, especially cats. I plan to be the creepy old man down the road with the 60 cats who sits in a rocking chair all days stroking his pretties.

surprice...nyna know but did the rest of you know i had a char in here :P he is to young to join the official ranks yet though, so working on aging him atm ;) and when he get of age he will find his way back to the col (he was raised inside it)

 

um yeah i pretty much have chars active or inactive in any rp division, i been a bookowl since early age, and then some 4 years ago figured the natural other half to reading is writing, and been in the rp since

 

i did span out to the org as well since then, and is in the shadowspawn and warders there + on loa from the aiels

 

love animals too though my main love is towards dogs, almost done in school (yey) and planing to move across the atlantic to be with my better half (which i managed to meet here on dm :P)

 

really nothing new in there though as i think most of you know me :D
