Moving on, who is your favorite Forsaken, and why?

I've always been a sucker for Asmo, shame he had to get himself killed :( I dunno, he just seemes like a cool cat, playin' his music, lookin' suave.

Changes?

Won't have it! Some invasions maybe, otherwise mightily pleased

I kind of feel bad for Semi. I mean, she didn't really even get brought out until Book 9 or so, and even since she's hardly been in the books at all. Asmo was cool, it would have been neat to see him stick around a little longer, perhaps grovel before a few Chosen...but then we wouldn't have the longest thread ever created questioning his murderer. ;)

I have to agree with Chili and Twitch, Ishy/Moridin, for all the above reasons.

As for the lightful thing... I have no idea anything about it, even though I'm sure I've read about it more than once. I also don't know how many points I have or where to look to find out (mostly, I'm sure, due to my own laziness). I just participate and wait for a faction leader to PM me, since I'm pretty sure that thats how it goes down.

And FDM, you shoulda told me about the bounty. I'd have made a game of that.

It's in the Bore Canuk. You posted on the thread, you probably just don't remember. http://forums.dragonmount.com/index.php/topic,29903.0.html

And yeah Barm, here is where you check on your points: http://www.sg-org.com/members.html

The whole point of the Bounty, is that you don't know you are being recruited. So I couldn't tell you, or it would have defeated the purpose. :P

Because I've just never gotten around to deleting it.

I think that in terms of service to the DO that aginor would have to be a favorite, pity he had to die so soon wanted to see how much more he would have revealed

I hear you Badco. I assume given the chance he would have had a field day developing more shadowspawn to fight against the good side.

And the last bit for this discussion: Of the books so far, what is your favorite book in the series? What is probably your most favorite moment?

For my favorite book, I'm always debating between books 4 and 5. In book 4, I love how Rand learns about his heritage, and how the girls start to learn more about their Talents, and power. I love the Nynaeve/Moghedian face off, and how Perrin saves the Two Rivers. In book 5, I love how Moiraine shows how she was serious when she would sacrifice everything for the Dragon Reborn, including herself. How Siuan finds Salidar, and how Birgitte gets bonded. My most favorite moment is a toss between Rand and Nynaeve using the Choedan Kal, and when the Bowl of Winds is used, and all the women are running down the hill like crazy ladies, with Nynaeve pushing all these old ladies out of her way, hehe.

Stayed tuned for next months discussion on Scary Movies. :)

My favorite book is The Fires of Heaven. It's so awesome. 2 awesome battle scenes, Moir goes completely bad ass, as does Rand, Mat realizes he's tied to Rand, Rand and Avi do the nasty, Rand gets Dragon Spear, the bad Aiel start ravaging country side, ahhh so awesome!!!!

Favorite part of that book is when Rahvin kills Avi and Mat. I got so pissed at RJ there, I put the book down and didn't want to finish it.  Than Rand goes crazy and destroys half of Caemlyn, and massive balefires that hoe.

SO. GOOD.

Favorite part of the whole series, either what I just described, or Dumai's Wells.

You know it's funny...almost every man in my family or within my circle of friends who has read the books also describes Dumai's Wells as their favorite scene. I personally thought it was rather gory. I mean, the whole "Ash'a'man, Kill!" was cool...but the arms and legs that flew flagged my ick-o-meter.

Is it just my area, or is Dumai's Wells really a guy favorite?

My favourite book wuld have to be Lord of Chaos. In 1036 pages it covered so much action and intrigue. My favourite part was when Rand breaks out of the box and massacres all the AS around him and then all the Asha'man arrive and they totally destroy the Shaido and the Wise Ones and afterwards Taim says 'Kneel or be knelt'...Oh, wait, that's Dumai Wells... ::)

Yeah, Dumai's Well was definitely an awesome scene that I'd like to see on film one day.

I also like the battle between the Ashie's and the Seanchan where they both retreat because the battle is so freakin bloody, everybody thought they lost. But part of why that battle is my favorite is that is when Rand realizes he doesn't have to conquer the world to be victorious at Tarmon Gaidon, he just needs a united front against the Shadow.

Nynaeve Healing Logain's gentling was huge for me too.  I got really excited when he was back in action.  The fact that he started capturing and bonding Reds felt like vindication for all the mistreatment they ever caused men!

I really love this moment too. I love the part when Nynaeve is insisting with everything she has that she actually did it, and to please shield him, and he looks at them surprised and says, "Is that what she thinks she did?" Like that would actually work, lol. And then they spend the next couple pages just pissing her off. It was awesome.

Dumani Wells is hot.  soo much blood...

but i think my favorite parts are all the intrigue in camelyn and cairhien.  I <3 Intrigue

Indeed, I thought the whole exchange was brilliant, I would've done the same and tried to play it off as well! Freakin Brilliant!!!
