Well folks the time is coming when we can start setting up our hockey league.  We did it on yahoo last year, and I'm getting people's preferences about if that's good for this year too, and how many teams we'll have on the league.

 

Most league setups are taking place the first week of september.

Can you check the option which limits the amount of players you can pick up from the waivers each week? 

I don't think so, I think I need to assign that at league creation.  I can change the time players are on waiver though.  OR I can limit the number of transactions a team can make in a given week.

Yeah the second one is the one that makes sense if you want to do it.  Just a suggestion but it would avoid the same thing that is happening in baseball.

Do you think that limiting it to something like 2 or 3 /wk would be enough to handle injuries?

Up to you man. I think 3 transactions a week is not to much to work around unless you abandon your team for awhile and come back to find everyone is on the DL.

Not that I'll actually do anything, but still no draft?
