TV Topic: Rank your top 7 shows this year

Featured Replies

1. Battlestar Galactica

2. Lost

3. Grey's Anatomy

4. The Office

5. Sopranos

6. West Wing

7. Nip/Tuck

I still watch CSI but it seems to be getting old for me. Montage after montage and some quick witted humor. I am excited about the new seasons of Deadwood and Entourage, but then again, I am a HBO whore.

The new shows I am most excited about for next season are:

1. Dresden Files - Love the books

2. Aaron Sorkin's new show - Don't even care what it is about

3. Heroes

CSI Vegas

Charmed

Lost

Prison Break

Bleak House

CSI Miami

House

Post 300... yeah

And there is my Lost brethern. What did you think of the finale?

I have so been wanting to talk theories with some people on DM.

Lost

Charmed

And those two are pretty much the only new shows I've been following. Saw a few episodes of Prison Break just because Peter Stormare is cool, but the show is nothing compared to Oz.

The season finale of Lost was pretty darn awesome!

Not in any order

The Office

Scrubs

Grey's Anatomy

West Wing (sad it's over)

Desparate Housewives

Family Guy

4400 (can't wait for it to come back)

In order (3-6 are pretty close and may switch around depending on my mood):

1. Battlestar Galactica

2. Grey's Anatomy

3. American Idol (loved Chris Daughtry and Simon cracks me up)

4. Boston Legal

5. Gilmore Girls

6. Bones

7. Alias (just haven't liked it as much this season)

Boston Legal and Alias I'm about a month or two behind on, since we record everything to watch later. Watching most of our shows with a toddler present just isn't smart since either he picks up stuff we don't want him to, or we miss too much trying to keep him entertained while we watch (his bedtime used to be really late, we just recently changed it). I'm only caught up on Gilmore Girls and Bones because hubbie doesn't watch them so I don't have to wait for him to be home to watch.

I'd add House MD to the list in a heartbeat, but I missed season 1 until the dvd's, which came after season 2 was already started, so I'm waiting on the dvd's for season 2 as well. It currently rivals Battlestar for my favorite though, barely pulling in second only because of the gore factor in House.

The only other shows we watch are the Stargates and those are pretty much just because they're on sci-fi on Friday. I liked the first season of Atlantis, but I think I can only watch so many Stargates before they all seem to run together and have the same plot.

I'm not looking to add more shows in the fall unless someone convinces me otherwise between now and then. Hubbie is quite anti-tv and I'm just not going to have the time.
