I'm trying desperately to construct an excellent Ash'aman costume and my major problem is the coat. It would seem like a simple task to find one, but I have spent countless hours searching the internet to no avail. I was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction. I'm a huge fan of the way these two artists rendered the coats so if anyone knows where I can get coats similar to these I appreciate it more than you could ever know. Also I realize the second coat is Rand's but I want that style to use.

Are you looking for a pattern or pre made coat?

If you're making it from a pattern try using a 18th century British soldier's coat with black fabric instead of red.

 

RJ has said he placed the WoT in the 1700's without guns, and Andor is closest to Great Britain, and the styles would probably be Andoran.
