(please forgive any wrong spelling in the names of characters, it's been over a year since i've read knife of dreams and while waiting for the final book i finished the pearl saga of erik van lustbader and eragon of christopher paolini <i love fantasy books!!>. consequently my memory has been quite mixed with the different plots, characters, and events in the books)

 

hi i'm eriond, a new member. i've always wanted to join a forum on the books of wheel of time but somehow it always slips my mind. now that i am a member, i want to discuss the wheel of time series with other fans. i so love this series!!!

 

i have a question though, when nynaeve battled the forsaken moghedien in the dream world and defeated her by placing around her neck the ter'angreal that binds women who can channel, how did moghedien ended up with nyneave and the others while they are travelling towards tar valon??

 

their are some other things that i find confusing in thes series but over all this is the best fantasy series that i have ever read (and i have read quite a lot!)

For example: search Moghedien among "characters". Nynaeve figured out that Moghedien was in Salidar, and then drugged her (The Fires of Heaven, chapters 54&55).

I may have the wrong instance here, but I think you mean when they were travelling towards Salidar, not Tar Valon?

 

Moghedien had disguised herself as one of the women on the boat on which Nynaeve, Birgitte, Aviendha and Elayne took passage. I forget the name of the woman that she disguised herself as, but not Nicola or Areina. I think it was the one with the children. Nynaeve healed one of the children I think. Moghedien then asked to go with them, to which they accepted. That's how she joined the group.

She had disguised herself as Marigan and posed as the 'mother' of two of the boys on the ship. She was with them in Salidar when Nynaeve captured her.

Nynaeve & Moghedien were both in Salidar when Nynaeve captured Moghedien.  Sometime later in Tel'aran'rhiod, Nynaeve makes forkroot tea and gives it to Moghedien which shields Moghedien and causes Moghedien to have dreamless sleep.  I imagine Nynaeve then wakes up then somehow moves Moghedien to her room.
