Hey everyone, I just joined this site a couple days ago but I can already say that it rules. I especially love just browsing the forums or looking at the artwork in the gallery. I live in Ottawa, the capital of Canada and I love NHL hockey, reading and getting new games for my PC. I havn'e yet finished my first read through of the series, but right now i am on Winters Heart. I just randomly saw the Eye of the World at a thrift store and thought the cover looked cool so I bought it. Talk to all you guys later!

Hey, thanks for saying that, I think most of us who sign up think that too!!

Welcome to DM and come visit the Illuminator's if you like the Gallery *G*

Thanks, and I will do that.

Oh, Ottawa, I'm actually only about 3 hours from there myself (Peterborough), should be up that way sometime in the next semester to visit a couple of friends whom are schooling there.

Do you have your Red Army band? A friend of mine promised she'd get me one, but that was some 7 or 8 months ago, and I haven't seen anything yet. *grumbles*

Welcome to DM!

I found The Eye of the World in the same way you did - the cover looked cool! And the British covers are much better than the others I have seen.

The Seanchan might be a good ORG for you, as they are the entertainment geeks here, covering TV and computer games. But not music - that is the Band of the Red Hand. Both places are worth a look.

But whatever you do, welcome to DM! :)

Ya thanks I actually already requested to join the Seanchan. I've never seen any other covers than the English ones though.
