Corki stands outside a newly erect building after the fun and games of the last Stumbling Soldier thread. The building glistens in the mid-day sun, showing off its newness and splendour. Across the door is a shiny red ribbon, and in Corki's hands is a pair of scissors. Corki opens the blades of the scissors and goes to cut the ribbon. Corki addresses all the Band Members, and any passer-bys, standing before him.

 

"Band Members, and Ladies and Gentlemen, I am pleased to welcome you to the Band of the Red Hand's general tavern again, The Stumbling Soldier. Everything is clean and tidy after the mess in the last Tavern! A wide variety of Battle Brews are available, including Marshal-General's Special Battle Brew, Combat Cognac, The Cavalry's Bandy, Infantry Brew, The Archers' Flaming Shots, Cherry Bomb Brew, Brew Tea for our non-alcoholic drinkers, and good old fashioned Battle Brew.

 

"So, once I have cut the red ribbon, please enter the Tavern, and one of our Band Members, most likely to be me, will pass you your chosen beverage! So, without further ado, I am pleased to announce that The Stumbling Soldier is now open for business, and Brews shall be served!"

 

Corki cuts the red ribbon, and rushes inside before the Band Members squash him, and stands behind the bar waiting to serve!

If you weren't a higher ranking officer... *growls* I would do something extremely evil... but I don't feel like getting in trouble for assualting a superior officer tonight, or for starting another bar fight... *sigh*

Where was I whe this was going on? Well, I was still in bed, then got up and had a shower to freshen myself up, and then strolled over the campfire to grab whatever was cooking on there for breakfast. Then I came in to the Stumbling Soldier II for a Brew to help me with my paperwork for the day, and I see carnage! That was where I was!

 

*sips his Brew some more*

Blah blah whaaa, mope...

 

Important stuff, blah, blah...

 

Real life, whiny whiny poo!

 

*drinks some brew*

 

*chuckle*

*turns to Kat*

 

I think he was just scared...

 

*drinks brew*

 

*tears forming in eyes*

 

Sounds like a bunch of *does the finger quote geusture* excuses to me.

 

*grabs his side laughing*

I think if he takes the time to look at our post count compared to the Kin's....he might say, "Fine job, you guys rock!"

Well, yes, good job in beating The Kin...yet again...I make that 3-1 to the Band now, so yes, good job! Go and grab 1 M-G Brew each! ;)

 

If you really wanted excuses, I would give them if this wasn't a PG-13 rated site! ;)

*opens mouth getting ready to make a comment, closes it without saying a word--sometimes silence is better*
