Bring back a favorite by popular demand (FDM demanded it).  Here is how it works.  I post a Versus.  You respond with your vote bolded/glowey.  Feel free to discuss.  Once we have voted for a few days, I will announce winner which will move to next round.  In the end, only one shall stand.

Here are the few upcoming TV shows I just thought of off the top of my head.  Feel free to give me any I missed (still need a few more).

Heroes,  CSI,  The Tudors, MythBusters,

Winners: Lost, Bones, How I Met Your Mother, Grey's Anatomy, Supernatural, The Office, Fringe, True Blood, BSG, The Amazing Race, 30 Rock, Scrubs, Dexter, House

Losers: Life, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Chuck, It's Always Sunny, Mad Men, Big Bang Theory, Life on Mars, Big Love, Stargate: Atlantis, So You Think You Can Dance, Saturday Night Live, Prison Break. The Simpsons, Entourage

(24 left off as they have not had enough episodes to warrant an opinion for 2008)

That's tough. I'm a huge Lost fan, but Life is new to me, and has that novelty factor still attached. I'm gonna have to go with Life, at least until the new season of Lost start.

Sorry Sawyer... If you need comforting, just, erm, come by my place tonight. *g*

I only watched a couple of episodes of the first season of Life and kinda enjoyed, but not enough to continue watching it. Lost all the way.

I am going to tie it up and go with Lost.

Life is good and all, but I have the last 6 episodes backlogged on my DVR while I watch Lost live (one of the few shows I do watch live).

I love Life.  I also really enjoy eating fruit.  Not so much with the Koans though.  Unfortunately even though it hasn't aired in for-freaking-ever I'v got to be loyal to Lost.  ;D

[glow=red,2,300]Life[/glow] ! My favorite detective, I was into Lost for awhile then it just got weird and I moved on.

I thought this would be a rout.  I was really wrong.

So far it is..

Lost: 3

Life: 3

Still need other show ideas as well or I will end up picking what I want.

Have to go with Lost, even if I am a bit unfair here since I have never seen Life.

Other shows? Prison Break, and has there been a season of Weeds in 2008? That is the only show I watch with on Swedish telly, ie with a bit of delay.

As for sugjestions on what shows, you forgot

Testees

The Shield

Rescue 911 (I think thats what its called)

Life on Mars

Big Bang Theory

you could also throw in shows like...

Modern Marvels

Dirty Jobs

Ghost Hunters

Myth Busters

Time Warped

PrototypeThis (I think thats what its called)

Survivor Man - Hey, I don't watch it everytime it comes on, but its damned interesting.

Daily Show?

Pushing Daisies was canned so I disregard it.  Weeds jumped the shark this season and sucks.  Testees is awful... what are you smoking?  Kath and Kim was bad too.  I added most of the others.

Ok I am calling the vote as Lost moves on with a vote of 5-4.

Bones

Never seen either, but Summer Glau is hot, really really hot. Yes I'm being shallow here. Sarah Connor Chronicles

Sarah Connor Chronicles is quickly becoming one of my favorite shows on TV.  The episode last week (or the week before) dealing with the war criminal was probably the best TV I saw all week.  So when comparing the 2008 season of SC to Bones, Sarah Connor wins hands down.

Never seen either, but Summer Glau is hot, really really hot. Yes I'm being shallow here. Sarah Connor Chronicles

I'll second this.  Also bad-ish sci-fi is infinitely preferable to bad science fact IMO, at least in situations where it's more like science fallacy.  I can't watch CSI shows anymore because I am compelled to point out all the errors I notice, so nobody can enjoy said show.  Luckily with Criminal Minds my knowledge of psychology beyond Jungian Archetypes is non-existant.

Sara Connor, all the way. And not only because the hotness of Summer Glau ;D

I have tried giving Bones a shot, but it really does not do anything for me.

Well, the enitre competition can be called off now, because after last nights episode, HIMYM pwns everything.

Maj, soon to try The Naked Man
