Staff Christmas Lunch was during my lunchtime today, hence why this wasn't posted. Anyway, Once in a Royal David's City progresses into the semi-finals with a 2-1 win.

Next tie is going up now!

Away in a Manger for me!

It's classic and while not as musical perhaps as O little Town...It is usually the first christmas carol anyone learns...and the one they remember all thier lives..*grins*

Hell's Bells! I totally forgot about this last night! lol!

O Little Town of Bethlehem progress to the semi-finals with a 3-1 win over Away in a Manger. The last second round tie is on the way!

Hark! The Herald Angels Sing!

Glory to the New Born King! Peace on Earth and mercy mild...God and sinner reconciled...

Christmas defined in the line of a carol....

Hark the Herald Angels Sing wins 4-1 and completes the semi-final line-up.

And slightly differently than before, both semi-finals will run together in order that I can get the final started tomorrow before I head home for Christmas. The final will run over the festive period as I am not 100% sure if I can get online at all during Christmas, despite my parents moving the business back to home.

M-G Corki votes as follows:

SF 1: O Come All Ye Faithful

SF 2: Once in a Royal David's City

SF1 : O Come all Ye Faithful

SF2 : Hark the Herald Angels Sing

My two favourites at least hit the semi's. The question is, if both reach the final, which will i choose?!?

SF1 : O Come all Ye Faithful

SF2 : Hark the Herald Angels Sing

Was "O Holy Night" ever considered and I missed it?  It's one of my favorites.

No. I picked 16 Carols from a site that listed famous carols and these 16 were the ones I knew.

Come to think on it, it's really a solo, so it wouldn't count as a carol.  :)

One out of One disreputable, sacrilegious, and generally vile and pernicious Pirates choose..

Come ON ye' Faithful buggers!

and

Mark! The Stacy Keach lookalike Angels Sing!!
