Forsaken as models?

Featured Replies

Because of the lack of description of the different forsaken, I have assumed that they are all beatiful. Is this correct? I read in another thread that Semirhage is ugly, is this true?

Pics, anyone?

Aginor, on first appearance, is aged, withered, by the turnings of the Wheel. Otherwise, he is described as having the face of a strong man in his prime. Not exactly beautiful.

Aran'gar is beautiful.

Asmodean is described as handsome.

Balthamel I think was quite handsome in the AoL, but in the Third Age he is even more decayed than Aginor.

Be'lal isn't described as good looking, from what I recall.

Cyndane is "She is a short young woman with long silver hair, vivid blue eyes and an impressive bosom." Perhaps people were too busy looking at that "impressive bosom" to care whether or not the was was beautiful.

Demandred is handsome.

Graendal is beautiful, but only plumply pretty next to Lanfear.

Ishamael was handsome. Then he had flaming eyes and mouth, which some people may see as a turn off.

Lanfear is the most beautiful woman going.

Mesaana isn't described as good looking, from what I remember.

Moghedien is sturdily handsome, apparently. Not a ringing endorsement of good looks.

Moridin is apparently almost pretty enough for Graendal.

Osan'gar is described as middle aged, with an ordinary or plain face and lank hair.

Rahvin is handsome.

Sammael wasn't really described in those terms, and he has that scar (although some people like that sort of thing).

Semirhage is described as beautiful.

Descriptions courtesy of encyclopaedia-wot. So, a fair few god looking ones, but not universal beauty.
