I figured we should have a thread where we're able to talk about the monthly announcements without clogging up the thread. So, I'll start things off with one thing.

 

James is a lazy git. Or he's a busy git. He may also just be a lying git. But whatever the case, the fact remains that the Bubble of Evil thread is still going, and James is a git.

But I only mentioned the Bubble of Evil because I wanted an excuse to call James a git. Now, onto other things.

 

I've got one question, which is what is the project Burnout?

 

And now, the main reason I made this thread. The Epic RP. I'm curious as to how exactly this would be handled. Whether James has any ideas on it, and if anyone else has any ideas on it. Personally, I think there should be a short footnote added to the bio of people who participated in an Epic RP, what the RP was about and how it affected them fame-wise. Also, these things should affect the world in such a way that it opens up somethings for people, as well as closes things. For example, if an assassin kills a monarch, then most of the country should be closed to them for awhile, since people would long be searching for them. But it would also increase the assassin's reputation, getting him a much larger clientale and opportunities to start some extravegent RPs. Or, a mercenary company betrays their employer. Their reputation would be bad, and less people would wish to join, and hire them, but they could become bandits, or give their services to a noble for lesser fees and serve him faithfully, thereby regaining their reputation and becoming a desirable company.

 

Or any number of things. I really like that Epic RP idea :D.

As do i. but i want to play mor on my AS than my FL.. (as she is legendary enough..:P no need to give her a bigger Ego.. ).

 

Epic.. hmm.. I wa thinking something around Cairhien.. but i dont' really have any solid idea's yet..

Eh, I made an attempt at writing up BoE two days ago, and adware at my post. As it also ate a second post for Celes that day, only cleaned the comp last night. Will get it done :P

 

Project burnout is the construction of Randland essentially. Creating info on nations, putting info together on herbs found in the land, or what pastimes they have, customs in different nations or groups, etc. Basic idea is to give players more info they can draw from, and to make the RP world more solid so its far easier to interact with it and have an effect. For example, say you were that assassin and you killed a noble, so what? If you kill a specific noble from a family with politics of the country set in place, thats a different matter :)

 

Epic RP, I haven't done much more with it, my main concern atm is exams and finishing up the BoE and a couple of other threads :D Gives me more time to think about it at least. But you're on the right track :)
