I have been a jordan fan for along time.. I stopped at book 8 of the wheel of time series.. i was cleaning out a closet and came acrossed them again.. so i started with book 1 again.... i forgot how good this series was. I talked with some friends at work and they informed me that Robert Jordan had passed.. My sympathyies to the family. Now I am waiting for the last book to come out. as it stands i am on book ten again  ;D, It goes with me even on patrol in Iraq. Currently on loan to the army from the Navy. can not wait for book 12.

 

*wince*  That has got to be mild culture shock, working with the Army and being in the Navy.  That is, unless, you're used to joint service?  My six years in the Air Force were almost completely joint service, so I'm not sure how I would've fared without the inter-service bantering!
