Hello from Oz

Featured Replies

Hi everyone Im from the Land down under. Im a long time fan of the Wot & am going to start re reading it again today  :)

Hullo Jack, always good to see someone else from Oz wandering about.  Quite a few of you actually; I'm surprised no one has organized a WoT Down Under meet (that I know of!)...

Anyhoo, welcome to our little madhouse.  Explore it all and see what suits, I guess!  Or, y'know, you can tell us what you're looking for around here, and we can point you in the right direction! :D

Hi Raeyn, not looking for anything in particular just trying not to get lost at the moment ;D

*chuckles*  That is pretty easy to do without a little guidance, I can admit!  But it breaks down fairly easily.

The Wheel of Time category is fairly self-explanatory - book discussion and the like.

The Dragonmount and Special Events categories are fairly as advertised.

The Discussion Groups are basically mini social clubs with themes.

Turnings of the Wheel is light roleplay; people are permitted and encouraged to roleplay on this board in whatever manner (as long as it's PG-13) that makes them happy.

Organizations (Orgs) are larger social groups, though some have very specific purposes, like the Illuminators.  That particular Org does a lot of crafts, writing, etc - very neat place to explore if you've got time and a hankering to do a project.

Once you get past the Orgs, you get into my territory - the Dragon Reborn Portal Stone World (DR PSW) boards.  The first category is for everyone in the roleplay Divisions (Divs) - it's a great place to plan roleplays, say hello to everyone, learn the ins and outs, etc.  The Division boards are after that, and are in essence planning & socialization boards for the various groups of roleplayers (RPers).  The final category are the actual roleplay boards themselves - you are not permitted to post on those boards until you have an approved biography, however.

I hope that sort of makes sense - I've been a member of this site for around eight years now, so I'm used to all the little ins and outs.  *grins*

Hello Loreina

Thats got to be just how detailed the world & characters are. I can lose myself for hours

*nods*  Sometimes it's too much for me to keep track of, which is good because then I can reread them without getting bored.  ;D
