Okay, some of you know that I have a foodie blog I update occasionally. It's mainly recipes and reviews of places I've eaten at. I started it because I noticed my LJ was getting over run with posts about food and I didn't want my friends to think I was fat. It's here for anyone that wants to look at it.  http://northsidefood.blogspot.com/

So anyways, I'm just getting home, right? It's been a hellish day and I've been at a bar for about five hours killing the pain of teaching middle school with ridiculously strong Jack and Cokes. (Apparently they only waved the Coke bottle at my Jack before serving.) I go home and start checking things, with no real intention of writing anything, anywhere tonight. I've been dealing with girls all week who think the first week of the semester is a GREAT TIME to get their bitch on and there's been drama over my elective "Food Appreciation" class. I'd ask for it to be capped at six students, and I've got eleven.  Did I mention the student/ teacher ratio at my school is ten per class? Not thrilled.

Anyways, I check my blog stats and I'm getting tons of hits off the local paper's site. Not like crazy traffic, but more than I usually get if I haven't updated in a week. Apparently their head food dude (he used to review resturants, and wrote a column for years) started a blog with them and he picked my blog as one of the "best local food and dining blogs" to include on his blog roll.  http://blogs.ajc.com/food-and-more/

I'm all freaked out.
