Oh, I'm late!  Happy birthday, Jehaine!  Jay and I have been meaning to watch Heroes at some point, probably when the series is over and we can get a few boxed sets of all the episodes and watch it marathon-style.  Mmm, I love marathons.  I hope you got a chance to relax and enjoy your presents. :)

Actually, i downloaded the dvd rips, watched them and then decided they were worth buying. I do most stuff that way, the guys at the manga store i'm a regular in knows i do, i never made a secret about it.

 

Try before you Buy... The best option, even when it's not supposed to be one ;)

 

I think a -lot- of people do that... and honestly, I can't see anything wrong with it.  You like something enough to shell out the hard-earned bucks, then it's going to be worth it... beats spending a fortune on something to find out it's utter crap.
