ABC has greenlighted a pilot for “No Heroics,” based on a British sitcom about a bar catering to superheroes.

 

Writer-producer Jeff Greenstein (“Will & Grace,” “Desperate Housewives”) is crafting the script with Drew Pearce, who created the ITV2 version:

Heh, since we don't really watch ITV, I hadn't heard of this.  I've tagged Neil to track down some episodes, since I'm figuring this would appeal to me in the same way that the live-action version of The Tick did.

It's funny you should mention the Tick, Raeyn, because as soon as I read "a bar catering to superheroes" that's exactly what I thought of!

 

Fye for anyone interested: Netflix' Watch It Now has the entire season of The Tick live action show. It's short, but moderately amusing. I <3 Batmanuel. *g*

 

I honestly everyone pay money for the live-action version of The Tick, to cherish and to own - I looove re-watching it.

 

As for No Heroics - we watched three of the six episodes last night.  Neil LOOOOOVED it.  I thought it was cute, but not brilliant. :)
