Tennis Anyone?

Featured Replies

Anyone a tennis fanatic?

I personally think that Marat Safin could be the best tennis player in the world, even better than Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal, if he would just apply himself.  If anyone saw the 2005 Australian Open, they know how good Safin is.  He just parties and drinks too much and doesn't apply himself.

Anyone want to discuss, argue or debate.  Anything about tennis.

I am also a huge tennis fan.  Safin is fantastic, but I don't think he is on the same level as Roger or Rafa, even if he did apply himself.  But who knows, maybe he would be.  I feel similar about Djokovic - if he would stop letting the crowd get into his head and toughen himself up (injury timeouts and retiring), he could also be #1.

The only tennis I play is Stick Tennis online.

I don't mind tennis. The women's game is more unpredictable than the men's, so it is more enjoyable for that. But slowly, there appear to be more challengers in the men's game. And finally we British may have someone who can win a Grand Slam after many near misses with good ol' Tim Henman!
