ABC has announced that its generally crappy and ratings-challenged sci-fi cop series “Life On Mars” won’t get a second season.

 

The good news for fans is the network is letting the show’s producers end with an episode explaining how the lead character, a 2008 cop, wound up in 1973.

 

(SPOILER!! In the British version of “Life On Mars,” the cop wakes up from a coma in the final episode, but discovers he liked it better in 1973 and decides to commit suicide – which somehow returns him to the past.)

 

Good. I tried to like this show, and occasionally I did, but mostly it made me cringe and want to disappear into the floor.  :P

I gave up on it two episodes ago.

 

I did notice BBC america giving us Ashes to Ashes... Do you Brits like it?

OMG. OMG. DIDN'T I TELL YOU!?!?!?!?!  I went to see... Mitra. In Los Angeles.  ;D

I like it for the kick-ass music they play throughout the episodes... I could take it or leave it for the story.

The music kind of ruined it for me.  It felt cheesy....

Really? To me, it just felt like they were having some fun with the concept of the show.
