So last night I was in the process of logging into WoW, when I heard a sizzle and a pop, and my laptop went black...forever. I was extremely upset, considering everything is on that pc...but instead of crying (like I seriously thought I would), I got really really angry, and took it out on my husband's Dell credit card.

 

So I purchased an AWESOME new pc, which will be arriving May 1st or earlier. Until then, I have to trek down to my basement (that I hate), and use our craptacular pc. This means that instead of always having a pc near me, I'll probably only be getting on here two or three times a day (maybe less) until my pc gets here.

 

Canuk, I'm going to install WoW on this pc, hopefully it will work out.

 

I'll keep everyone updated as my status changes.

gooood luck.  before you log in, if it installs, go to the options button on the sign in screen and reduce all video and sound to minimal.  might help.

you can get a mount MCS when you buy the game, pay for time and then get a friend to buy the game and pay for time with one of your email referrals.

That really sucks FDM, but as the others don't understand about having kids, you can't leave them upstairs whilst you are downstairs, I would recomend a little padded cell with some crayons where theyt can't do themselves mischief, then you will have more time to get downstairs... ;)

Yeah, I'm currently in the process of turning the rec room into a playroom for them, but again...leaving the children upstairs while I'm downstairs is not an option, and having them downstairs before I have baby-proofed it is also not an option. And since I go to class at night, I don't have the time to do it them...you can see how this is a vicious circle of "I'm damned no matter which way I do things".

 

But it's all good. I received word that my computer is almost finished being built, so perhaps I'll receive it more toward to middle of April, as opposed to the beginning of May.
