hey Claire, how old's Gianna mainplotline?

I'll get the initiation post up tomorrow. <3 promise.

She will be 53 in current timeline, her raising is set around 984 NE or when Kathana was Amyrlin.

She's ready for kisses and a shawl!  ^^ *points to the thread*

Does she get the shawl right away? do we get to take her naked through the halls and force her to make us pie?

In NS, Moiraine gets the shawl first thing, from the most recently raised sister present.  Then they all kiss her saying "welcome home sister, we have waited long for you" or some such.

 

I think Gianna would have apoplexy at the idea of going through the halls naked, but do what you will ^^

 

Sixth kiss gets a pie!  Present there should be Estel, Elyssa, Diona, Nastascia, and two NPC blues.  So fight it out amongst yerselves ;)

DM Blue Ajah tradition is that the newbie Bluebie takes one last streak before calling her wild days quits ;)

Blue Ajah Traditions

Initiation Ceremony

When a newly raised Aes Sedai chooses the Blue Ajah at her Oaths Ceremony, four Blue Sisters are standing waiting for her, the three Blue Sitters and the youngest Blue Sister present in the Tower who will be holding her Blue Shawl. Each Sister greets the new Blue with the words "Welcome home, sister. We have waited long for you." and kisses her cheek--the new Sister must make a pie for the sixth Sister to do this.

After this is finished, the Sitters depart, leaving the new Blue with the youngest Sister present in the Tower. The new Blue is then led "clad in the Light" (aka naked) except for her Shawl to each of the Ajah Quarters where the Blue Sister leading her will call out to each Ajah to come and see the new Blue. Finally she is led to the Blue Quarters where she is welcomed by the entire Ajah present in the White Tower at that time, formally dressed in their Shawls. Each Blue Sister kisses their new Sister and repeats the phrase "Welcome home, sister. We have waited long for you."

When every Sister has greeted the new Blue, she is led to her own apartment and then meets with the Head of the Ajah, called the First Selector.

 

 

I will write Nasty taking her to the Blue Halls where they will join two others?? (Only two may be in the Raising Ceremony, so I'm assuming they bring her to the Blue Halls.)

She gets her shawl in the room with the ter'angreal, right?  Should we do that before leaving so that ya'll can force her to go naked?

In New Spring they also say that they won't parade her through the other ajahs naked so we don't have to do the naked thing but that may be lots of fun. I'll post to this thread tonight I promise.
