Super hero

Featured Replies

So I had a thought today, and I wanted to present it to everyone.

Mostly everyone when they were younger would fantasize what it would be like to be their favorite super hero.  They would draw pictures of them, act like them, collect comics, watch movies about them, dress up as them for Halloween as them, and day dream about them.  Super heroes like Superman, Spiderman, Batman, Wolverine, etc..

I read the Wheel of time when I was around 13 or 14.  I didn't dress up as Super man or any of the regulars.  I would dress up as an Asha'man for Halloween.  I would imagine fighting crooks with the One Power (ex. Flame sword).  Nobody had any clue what I was talking about.

Am I the only WoT fan that has done this?

Mine was always that I would somehow get transported to Randland and would be given mega saidin powers with a special link to the Creator giving me an immunity to the madness.  Mostly just something that I'd think about when I was bored, like on a long walk or if I had trouble falling asleep.

Mine was that I was transported into Randland with all the information from the books and I would find Rand and tell him all that I knew that he didnt, I had silly fantasies as a kid :D
