I'm an Italian huge fan of WoT, I'm 15 and I live in Rome.

Now I'm reading LoC and even if I'm a recently WoT fan I was totally captured since the first time I read tEOTW!

It's strange how a book can change your life! =)

I read the first 5 books in italian, but now I decide to read LoC in english because the italian translations are horrible!

My favourite characters are Moiraine and Siuan lol  ::)

This forum is wonderful, it's good to be here =)

Hi i'm Italian too and I'm new to the forum.

I'm Katia, i'm 27 and i found out this site only Thursday, while i was doing some research about WoT.

I've started to read this saga years ago but since i read many books at the same time, i left the 1st book without finished for a lot of years before ended finally some weeks ago  ;D

So, actually i'm new 'cos i'm just at the 3rd book LOL

I finished the 2nd a couple of days ago in the middle of the night, i wanted so bad finished that i stayed waked until the 4am for finish it and i had to go to wake up the day after at 7am!!! :D

Well, i suppose i will finish all the books in few weeks, so i'll be ready for the final one, i'm looking forward to see the end.

Since in Italy the 10th will be released this July and the 11th i don't know when i'm going to read them in English and as usual, starting again from the beginning in English too,'cos as Amy said the translation is horrible *sigh*

 

I'm a great fan of Tolkien and i read everything he wrote, i'm studying even the Elvish tongues!!!

I really love Robert Jordan saga because of its "complicated" plot, i mean it's not banal, but on the contrary u have a complete world with names and characters that reminds me for some ways Tolkien's world, even if of course i know it's completely different.

 

My favorite character is Mat, i really loved him since the 1st book even when he was just the guy that he seemed was useful just for have fun LOL

I found out later (in my stupidity i spoiled myself reading something on Wikipedia *sigh*) that he has a great part in the book so it seemed i choose well  :D
