Lor's Little Webquest for The Little Mermaid

 

Alright, so I thought, rather than try to talk about the movie for a week, we'd do something different. It's a webquest! I'll add a piece each day and will be handing out points depending on how fast you are, how accurate you are, and how much fun I can tell you're having while you're doing that piece. I'm having a lot of fun already! :D

 

Just in case you didn't know, The Little Mermaid is my favorite Disney Movie. It has everything I love: magic, water, danger, forbidden love, evil witches with ulterior motives, and awesome music! This week, we'll be taking a walk through the magical city of Atlantica and dance with Prince Eric to the tune of a street musician! We'll survive a battle with the sea witch and the handsome prince (with a little help from our dad) will save the day! That's how a good story should end, after all! I'm a writer, I know these things... *grins*

I always loved Part of Your World. It used to be my favorite song in the world at one point. :)

Ohhh it's close for me, I love Part of your world, I sang a solo of it but there's something about the beats and harmony in Kiss the Girl that do it for me today. *G* Funny you should post this as you know it's my fav too and I am reading a book right now loosely based on Little Mermaid.

Hmmm well I would normally say UNder the Sea, but in truth....Kiss the Girl has a great sound to it.  ;)

Under the sea and Kiss the girl are my favorites. But Under the sea is number one.

 

 

I can still sing every song from this movie.

 

Some of the neighborhood kids and I put together a small play with all the songs from The Little Mermaid when we were young. Nothing big. It was in the backyard and our parents watched. I'm sure it was horrible to sit through for them but great fun for us. :lol

I love this movie and I had a hard time picking, but I had to go with Kiss the Girl. *smiles* It's my favorite part of the whole movie! I'm a sucker for romance...

I would have never guessed it.  ;)

6- What happens to the mermaid at the end of the story? She becomes a spirit of the air because she strove with all of her heart to have an eternal soul, and by doing enough good deeds, will eventually rise to the Kingdom of God.

So, no one wants to watch youtube videos that morph Final Fantasy and Disney together and talk about whether Cloud or Eric should've ended up with Ariel? *blinks*

lol I watched them because they gave me something other than my 50 page TPA to do... ;D gotta love Kin for distracting me from homework lol.
