That's right, all you would-be writers out there! It's a preview of NaNo (which is coming up in 4 Months!)! All of you with stories to share will get extra points for sharing them with US this month! :D

They even get hosted on our website! *grins* So, check out last year's entries and start writing this years!

http://www.lunarmeadows.com/thekin/?page_id=30 (just click the side links!)

Enjoy!

It's not a dumb question... lol. I have no idea. I guess you could just post it or link to something like Lor did (if you have something like that).

Or you could create an account at our website (points up at link) and post it there directly. It'd save me a lot of time and trouble.

(Stories won't show up right away, as I'll have to approve them.)

no idea how to do it..and well, hmm not a story writer but i did do a little thing for the band, that i am inordinatly proud of so will just share it here..is that ok? waiting an official okey dokey...

*sits in lotus and waits, hummimg christmas carols*

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The task was set for the raw recruit,

To create a home beyond refute,

A place of beauty, life and fruit.

To spite the Jak o’ the Shadows.

Legend tells of a hidden place,

A stedding lost in time and space,

Lost in the war without a trace.

Hidden by Jak o’the Shadows.

The Flowersinger seeks with care,

Riding Buttercup her golden mare,

To find the place if she will dare.

That’s blind to Jak o’ the Shadows.

To her delight she found quite near,

A meadow colored bright and clear,

Ringed by mountains filled with deer.

She laughed at Jak o’ the Shadows.

Here is found the stedding lost,

In delight and joy the boundry crossed,

Presented in sparkling morning frost.

To wonder with Jak o’ the Shadows.

Dancing with butterflies while she sings,

Delighting in the power it brings,

To bring forth life in the living things,

A lullaby to Jak o’ the Shadows.

Her song enhanced the beauty there,

Flowers, fruit, sweet grass for the mare,

A place the cavalry can share.

A home from Jak o’ the Shadows

A task of love began that day,

Building a home of frolic and play,

A place for man and horse to stay.

To defy the Jak o’ the Shadows.

But evil lives and duty calls,

Horse and rider leave the stalls,

Fighting for light a soldier falls,

Dancing with Jak o’ the Shadows.

Return to the Pasture another day,

Come back again to frolic and play,

A refuge from the fighting way.

The call of Jak o’ the Shadows.

*smirks* I meant in your own thread where everyone can ooh and ahh... but that'll do. ;) Great Job!

Or you could create an account at our website (points up at link) and post it there directly. It'd save me a lot of time and trouble.

Sorry to be dumb again. But do I post it as a reply to the Gleeman's Tale announcement, or do I make a new post somehow?

I think you make a new post, but you have to register first. Let me or Kia know if you've done that and we'll walk you through the rest. :D

  • Author

Alright, login on the right. This should take you to the "Dashboard." One of the first links down is "Write a Post." Just put your entry in there (via C&P or writing it out there), go to the right and click on Category to open the drop down menu. Pick "Gleeman's Tale 2006" and hit Publish!

:D that's it!

Um...I don't see a publish button, just a save button, so I saved the draft. Is that what Kiara meant when she said it has to be approved, or am I just not seeing the publish button?
