Except you know, Mines a different colour, has an extra wire that goes across the back of the head to connect the two, and I don't have a tattoo of a heart in my ear.

 

Anyways, I have a hearing appointment next week, well, I'm a terrible person who doesn't use his hearing aides when he is supposed to (ie. all the time, and I never do). Today I pulled them out to change the batteries and recharge my FM sytem, and the battery in the more important side of the hearing aid had leaked.

 

Well shit, now what? Fortunately it hadn't leaked bad, and a Q-Tip cleaned out the mess (it was... waxy) fairly quickly, then I popped a new battery in and put the thing in my ear to test... and nothing.

 

Oh shit, I've never mentioned my hearing aides having a problem before, how am I going to explain this one away?

 

Thankfully, it turns out that battery was dead, and the next one I tried worked fine, so now I've got one working hearing aide since that was my last battery and I need one for each side. Bah, I've already been to the store today, I don't wanna go back.

You should totally get a little heart tattoo in your ear Barmy. :D

Just wait until mid-summer, then it gets all hot and sweaty inside your ear

Getting a tattoo in the ear sounds like an awfully bad idea

Az is going to get me tattooed with the Chinese character for his name.  he had to talk the woman out of her getting it tattooed on her.  i'm getting it where the sun never shines ever.  right snug at the top of my butt crack there.  over the tailbone.  which i'm sure is really, really painful...
