Kyn let her talk, this area was not his specialty... when she stopped and slumped he waited to see whether it was emotional or pain and he let her be until she asked for help. Once she did he simply scooped her up and carried her the rest of the way to the infirmary. Laying her on the bed he saw the Accepted heading their way, "He has to learn to trust and to not abuse those who have placed their trust in him. Until Sandre can do that he is of no use to anyone, not you, not the Tower and not any Aes Sedai. Being a Warder is as much about trust as it is about skill. You have to trust your Aes Sedai to do what is best and they have to trust that you will keep their secrets, you will support them when needed and tell them the truth when needed; and most of all that, no matter what, you will keep them alive."

Edana clenched her jaw to keep from crying out as he lifted her off the ground and wished she could say she was grateful once he had her on a bed in the infirmary. The Accepted started buzzing around and she nodded at Kynwric. She didn't have the heart to tell him that she had no intention of being bonded to an Aes Sedai. He probably had figured it out, already. Because of that, Sandre didn't either. It was against their training here, but...

She hissed as an Accepted started poking her, searching for injuries. "I thank you for taking it easy on me," Ed laughed, trying to distract herself for a moment. "I can't imagine the damage you'd have done if you didn't like me so much." She grinned at that.

"Ask young Visar how he was left and you'll have some idea..." Kyn looked at the Accepted and scowled, "Delve her girl and quit all that poking, you're not some hedge doctor with his magic elixir. You'd be Aes Sedai, act like one." His voice was hard on edge when talking to the Accepted. "Leave your options open Edana, the first time I met Loraine I'd have spanked her as soon as kissed her."

Edana couldn't help but laugh. She laughed at his tone, at the way the Accepted jumped when he scolded her, and at the mental image of his spanking the woman who'd bonded him. "Aye, and likely broken every bone in her body when you did," she smirked, shaking her head. "You'll have to tell me about it, sometime. She seems far too nice for you."

She closed her eyes as a little tingle shivered through her. The Accepted wrote notes on a chart furiously and then hustled away, shooting Kynwric a dirty look. She'd opened her eyes to see that part. She grinned at Kynwric a moment, then closed her eyes again. "I think you've a fan in that one..."

"She is." Kyn said simply in reply to Edana's remark, "Maybe later, or better yet get her to tell you." Kyn let the Accepted have the room to do her work and caught the look that was ent his way when she scurried off. "Prolly just raised to Accepted, she still thinks like a Novice..." he shrugged, "She'll learn sooner or later. Of course she's more than willing to talk to an Aes Sedai about me, but that will only lead to the Aes Sedai talking to Lor..." he shrugged again as if that held no prospect of concern for him.

Edana laughed, which turned into a groan and a cough. Once she'd shaken it off, she shook her head at him. "I'm sure Loraine Sedai blisters your ears on a near constant basis for your behavior." She still couldn't see it. Loraine's eyes probably danced so much that people stopped telling her about his gruff manner. She had a hard time believing the woman ever said a cross word to the man.

An Aes Sedai bustled in about then, hardly saying anything before settling in to do her business. She ignored Kynwric completely, turning her back on him as she leaned over Edana. Ed shook her head, inwardly this time and laid back, closing her eyes and relaxing as the Aes Sedai bid her. She was exhausted by the time the woman left, but at least she didn't hurt anymore. She could use food, too...

"I am at a loss to decide which malady plagues me most, at the moment," she said, her voice and laugh sounding tired. "I'm starving, but I doubt me I have the energy to sit up to eat."

~Edana

The laugh was good news and it let Kyn feel more at ease about leaving Edana be here. "Sleep first, then eat... you'll be famished when you wake and make sure you eat it all no matter how much they put in front of you. Healing takes a lot of food and sleep to work right." Kyn patted her on her shoulder and rose. "I'll check on you tomorrow." And he turned on his heel and left.
