Hi fellow fans! My nickname is David Hermes and I am 17. I live in England and I have just finished my GCSEs! I am fanatical about reading in general but I prefer fantasy. I am also writing my own fantasy book, a trilogy actually, called The Ormrstones trilogy. I am currently reading Lord of Chaos the sixth book in the WoT series and would love to discuss the series with fans!

Hiya David, welcome to DM! I'm from Belgium myself and love reading fantasy too. I'm a little over twice your age *grins* and work at the university. I love to write too, but am a big slacker at it *shifty look* Which is why I love NaNoWriMo so much, at least I get to write for real every year for a month. LOL.

 

What brought you to DM? You say you haven't read the entire WOT series yet? You're in for some really nice fun still then! Kind of envy you as I've read it all several times now, so the newness of it is a bit gone for me. Still, I'm looking forward to the new book in November.

Also, you might want to watch out for spoilers if you haven't read all the books yet. You've got something to look forward to, reading the books for the first time!

I think everyone loves to write - I have an awesome idea in my head (inspired by my university studies), but it is just the time to actually write it. So I guess you will be around the Illuminators ORG, the creative side of DM. Do not desert the rest of DM for there is much on offer everywhere.
