Q: Why do earthquakes happen?

A: Beneath the earth's crust are massive tectonic plates which, believe it or not, are in constant motion.  Where they grind against each other, tremendous pressure builds up, and sometimes one plate slides over or under the other.  This causes earthquakes.

Except in Canada, where most are caused by Uncle Sam adjusting his hat.

Nice one Kivam, I laughed.

And HAPPY MOST IMPORTANT DAY IN THE WORLD EXCEPT MY BIRTHDAY!

Now if it would just stop raining...
