been thinking about this since my last read thru, what is the reaction of the few  living Malkeri Aes Sedai gonna be an the other borderlands  born Aes Sedai when they hear of Lan's ride to TG because its not a secret obviously.

not sure of the borderlands ones but i can actually see the Malkeri AS actually ride off to join him.

ARE there any Malkieri Aes Sedai? I don't recall any being specifically pointed out, which is kinda weird. Of course there could have been and I"m not remembering. I usually have to look at my DL to recall my name :-\

A Malkieri Aes Sedai is named in KoD, in the scene where Narishma addresses the rebel Hall.  It is also mentioned that many or most of the Malkieri Aes Sedai have died in one scheme or another to restore or avenge Malkier.  That means, on the one hand, that there has been strong sentiment among the Malkieri Aes Sedai to try to resurrect their country. On the other hand, those who are still alive will tend to be the least enthusiastic.  Thus, we don't know how they will react to what Lan is doing.

KoD says (p. 471), quoting the thoughts of Master Aldragoran the jewel merchant:

"Besides, he could not recall the last time he heard of a Malkieri girl going to the White Tower.  The Tower had failed Malkier in need, and the Malkieri had turned their backs on the Tower."

Any Sister would be informed that there was some WT involvement but since they were too late, so denied everything rather than being seen to fail.  I'm sure there are just as many Malkieri as any other smaller nation.  But, I think it's like the Sea Folk Sisters... there are a few, but they are hardly worth mentioning.

ARE there any Malkieri Aes Sedai?
Week 24 Question: How come we haven’t seen any Malkieri Aes Sedai? Or if we have, could you identify a couple for us?

Robert Jordan Answers: They just haven’t been at the forefront, I’m afraid.

the WT sent aid too late and failed right?

and it was with Manetheren that the Amyrlin refused aid out of jealousy right?

With Malkier they did send aid and failed, but kept it quiet because they failed. The official line is that no help was sent, IIRC.
