Never heard of them before, but that first one by Mastadon was not bad at all. Gonna go look up more of their music.  ;)

this is off their latest album Crack the Skye and Dethklok is from the animated show Metalocalypse by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacka.

Never heard of Metalocalypse, but then again I don't watch cartoons.

it's on adult swim on cartoon network and has a tv ma rating so it's not the run of the mill cartoon

saw mastodon years ago, wudnt mind seeing them again.

yea the first song i heard from them was sleeping giant from their album blood mountain an the rest was history. you might also want to try Amon Amarth or Ensiferum if you haven't already.

they're alright i guess. i probably won't run out and by tickets anytime soon, but they're better than Atreyu or Avenged Seven Fold.
