I just finished reading A New Spring and how did they find Rand was that story ever told and how did Suian ( sorry for my mis spellings) to power so fast I cant remember if I have read explations

And because the Hall had deadlocked between two older Aes Sedai (Romanda was definately one of them, because she went into retirement because she lost the Seat). The other was probably Lelaine, though we don't know for sure. In some ways Siuan rose for very similar reasons as Egwene, those with less intention that she be a puppet.

Yeah heard RJ had 2 or 3 prequels he wanted to do, how Rand was found and Tam's travels I believe were two of them.

He had three. One was new spring, the second covered Tam's time in the Illian army, and the third was the story of how Moiraine came to be in the Two Rivers just in time.
