The CW also had Reaper... which was good.

It also had Buffy (when it was the WB) which was awesome.

Smallville isn't THAT bad.

I am sure supernatural isn't that bad either.

okay I'll give it buffy, smallville crashed after the first season in my opinion, and I've never seen supernatural.

But on topic... I saw the trailer to this show recently (hulu bombarded me during an episode of the office) and it just seems ridiculous.  Nothing new at all.  They've simply re-gifted us with a new piece of wrapping paper.

Well I started watching it, but there was something wrong with the sound on the CW when I was watching it and couldn't really understand anything.

It is very teenage. Made by the same dude that did Dawson's Creek, it is exactly what you would expect--at least, from the 14 and a half minutes I saw of it. :D

I had it on for background noise.

I can tell you exactly why I hate the show.

Everyones having conversations about stuff that tries to establish that they existed before yesterday. Which they didn't.

Defying Gravity has back story/context/ect. but they do flash backs. This show... uggh. waaaay to tweeny. Tooootly twilight.

Now if it were more say... Anne Frank Diary + Vampire, that would be interesting. ;)

I didn't hate it.

Granted I fast forwarded through some of the dialogue that looked lame.  I also had very low expectations.  I doubt it makes my regular list as Thursday's are full of better shows.  But I will be watching this week's to see if it improves.

I didn't hate it either, and I expected to. The main vampires 'furrowed brow' annoyed the hell out of me, but other than that it was light, slightly cheesy, fun.

Meh.  Over done.  I'm over the angsty teenager show unless they can give me something new and fresh.  This definately ain't new or fresh.

Survivor's on Thursdays at the same time.  I'm out.

Yea, it was pretty boring. Definitely doesn't beat out Bones for me (and since I no longer have DVR, I'm stuck with one show per hour). And not interesting enough to bother watching it online.

As opposed to everyone else in this thread, I love this show. It's on tonight and I am super stoked for it to come on. Granted the show is NOTHING like the books, and the books are actually pretty good. The first of them written eons before the whole Twilight nonsense. But I've always really liked cheesy shows. I watched Dawson's Creek when I was a kid, I used to watch Gossip girl, but then I accidently fell too far behind to understand, and I also watch a few of the shows they cancelled which I can't remember the names of right now. Anyway, what I am saying is this is one of my only can't miss shows on television right now.

Hi,everybody!nice to meet you here! There is another tv show i'll recommend to you. It's Lie to Me dvd.Lie to Me Series 1-2 DVD Boxset is the compelling drama series inspired by the scientific discoveries of a real-life psychologist who can read clues embedded in the human face, body and voice to expose the truth and lies in criminal investigations. Lie to Me Series 1-2 DVD Boxset is executive-produced by Shawn Ryan, Brian Grazer, David Nevins, Daniel Voll, Samuel Baum, Dan Sackheim, Vahan Moosekian, Liz Craft and Sarah Fain. Dr. Paul Ekman serves as scientific consultant. Lie to Me Series 1-2 DVD Boxset seems an unusually meaty, thoughtful and thought-provoking crime drama – another police procedural, yes, but one with a dramatic and mesmerizing difference...easily one of the season's best new shows.

The show is surprisingly good. The magic elements( aka Bonnie and all the spells) can be kinda annoying but otherwise the show is solid. And there is some nice eye candy. I love me some Nina Dobreva ;)
