Maj was trying to be funny :p.

I always assumed Whitebridge was spinglass. The discriptions match exactly.

What do you mean, "trying"? I am always funny when I want to be. You just do not have a proper sense of humour ;D

The 3rd male sa'angreal is totally Whitebridge.

lol  :D personally i think that a bridge as a sa'angreal would be immensely inconvenient and impractical. come on, who would have thought of that?

Aes Sedai to council: I know! Lets make a huge bridge and make it an uber-powerful male sa'angreal! Just 'cause we can!

What better reason is there to do anything? Ok, 'it makes my butt look small' is a close second  ;D

It would make for a wicked 'You shall not pass!' scene ...

Aes Sedai to council: Ohh Ohh! i just came up with a reason for making a sa'angreal bridge! When the war of power happens, we can get LTT to stand on it and shout out, "You shall not pass!" to Ishamael and an army of trollocs! just 'case we can!  ;)

Hey, at least i didn't say 'failing'.

That would have been... accurate.

wouldnt the forsaken have already raided the tower for its goodies. Like travelled into the store rooms, stolen everythign and ran?

As someone else pointed out, the angry thing was Elayne with the Lion Throne. Rand will never sit the Crystal Throne because he will never go to Seanchan. RJ stated this.

the only problem ive ever had with this is he never sat on the Lion Throne, unless i missed that. I know he isnt going to go to Seanchen, its just the only one i could think of, since he didnt sit on the throne.

Maybe not literally, just metaphorically; if you rule a nation, you sit on its throne, even if not literally. He did rule Andor for a time.

I think he does sit in the Lion throne for a little bit, at lest I remember someone, maybe Tarna telling Elayne, that Rand has "actually sat in the Lion Throne to pass judgement" or some such...  Whether that was metophorical, twisting, or accurate I'm not sure, but the impression was that he did indeed sit in the Lion Throne for a short time before he put it up on the pedestal.

There are a few angreal, and a sa'angreal in the tower, I'm sure that they know they are there but it would be far to dangerous to do for the forsaken.

The White Tower stash is warded, so attempting to raid that would be a pretty bad idea.

Not even the forsaken could survive if a bunch of Aes Sedai came on top of them before they could leave because they sounded the alarm by accident.

they could escape, just travel in, air pick up everything send it through the gateway and run back out again

He cant be that great; rand killed him, so hes not "the master of life".  :D

it's one thing to say that they destroy all male angreals, sa'angreals, but it's quite another to actually do it.

you really believe the browns would truly allow the most important artifacts to be destroyed?

I've not problem with the idea, no. Aes Sedai are deeply prejudiced towards anything related to saidin, across Ajah.

How would Aes Sedai post-breaking recognize a male angreal or sa'angreal?

Doesn't a flute sa'angreal get mentioned at one point?

Or was that female?

As I remember, the strongest female sa'angreal the White Tower posseses is flute shaped.

Thats the thing, they wouldn't be able too.

How would Aes Sedai post-breaking recognize a male angreal or sa'angreal?

Aviendha's ability might be able to distinguish between saidin items & saidar items.  A number of Aes Sedia might have had that ability (if not currently).

Resonance testing might be another possibility; though less likely than Aviendha's ability.

It wasn't a Sa'Angreal it was a Ter'Angreal that made Balefire when you put the Power into it. There may be another one but im pretty sure thats the only one that has been mentioned
