The reason I know you folks at all is the books.  Five days ago a News post announced the release of the 1st chapter of the next book, and I just noticed today.  Sheesh!  i really gotta pay more attention.  :o

I just heard it too. lol

 

I'm not going to read it though. I will just want more. lol

*smiles* They moved the release date for the book to October 27th, too, just in time for us to go bananas for Halloween. *laughs*

 

ALSO, stop by and check out the book tour dates. Tor is letting us put together teams of fans to volunteer to help out at the signings AND there are perks for helping out! Make sure you check the tour listing and I'll do my best to remember to post back and let you know when they open up the application process. :)

Dag nabbit!  The L.A. signing is the same place as for the last tour.  I was there to see RJ on Halloween night. 

 

But this one is on a Tuesday, and I work till 9pm, 30 miles away now.  Growl!

I am in a reread, so I probably won't get to the free chapter either, unless I get done early.

Well first they'd have to plan a signing closer than 5-6 hours away from me.  :-\

lol, true. I have one 2 hours away (the Charleston one, no less) and it's VERY inconviently timed. *sighs and grumbles* Annoying...

Don't they know they should plan these around us?  ::)

I may have to take a trip to DC for this one. Maybe take the girls to the zoo or museums up there and stop by to meet Sanderson while we are there.

 

But Harriet will not be there. I really wanted to meet her.

Well the closest to me is in Dallas.  i really didn't think they would hit OK anyway!  But bill and I are talking about taking a little road trip for the signing!  And Harriet will be there, so that would be fun..and there are quite a few DM'er's in the Dallas area..

 

I think it's only a couple hours from here anyway...
