I was thinking of making an Aiel as my next character, but I need a bit of help first. Has our Car'a'carn revealed himself yet, and has he revealed the truth about the Aiel origins? Obviously, this makes a big difference as far as backstory goes (I was thinking of having my guy be one of those nutty siswai'aman). So, what's the situation on that and where are the Aiel people as a whole? Have we (already with the 'we'...) poured across the Dragonwall in force yet, or are we still biding our time and hanging out in the Waste?

From what i gathered so far, we're around the point where the Seanchan start becoming noticeable. I wouldn't know about the Aiel though, i have two but i've been skirting around that point myself.

For the Aiel, yes we have seen the Car'a'carn and left the waste. Since there are very few Aiel around atm you can get some of the story by reading the posts in the Three Fold Land
