So let us complain about our various academic loads at the moment.

 

For the past few weeks and for the near future I have an assignment due every Monday and every Friday. Not much time to relax, I tell you.

 

So?

I have fridays off...

 

But I also have two labs due per week and one more every two weeks.

I have to take the GRE some time soon and my higher math skills have suffered from academic neglect.

I have a paper due on Law theories, one on history of law in america, and one on the history of the senate.

 

Not very fun at all.

 

I also have to prepare for a mock trial.

A scrapbook sounds a lot easier than an essay to me.

I've got a research paper due Thursday, and I have to do 12 abstract pieces, 3 of each season. The pieces need to be 60cm square.

why do you have to write about what they feel like for Graphics?

 

And Far, is 60 cm square meaning that each side is 60 cm?

I wish I had to worry about school work instead of bills.  :(

 

I should have gone to college.............

Test later today; labs due every friday; approximately 50 regular sized pages (8.5 by 11 inches) of reading due every tuesday with a "synthesis paper" (ie: analytical 3 paragraphs) on them due every wednesday.

How about, I have get my daugther to do her hopmework as soon as she comes home from school, and not in the morning before she goes off and catches the bus... >:(

She forgets, so I tell her to write it down, but she forgets that, so I chain her to the table when dhse gets home from school until it is done! ;)

Because the teachers don't tell themto write it down she doesn't think she has to, butt she can never remember until she has gone to bed and then frets over it and can't get to sleep because she forgot to do it. So I get her to sit down and think and got through what she has had that day and try and remember the homework. It worked today, so hopefully that will be the course to take  ::) She hates getting told off, whether at home or at school...so I'm hoping slowly it will sink in!

I thought it was strange too, we always wrote ours down too. She is 9 so it's understandable that she may forget. i think thats a great Idea. I think I'm going to get her a nice book she can use, hopefully it will encourage her. when she did it tonight I made sure I praised he too, she likes praise alot, so hopefully that will encourage her too. She does take what the teachers say to heart, and literally and not do anything extra. The one time I perrsuaded to go a bit further she got a merit for it. I have trouble with her reading too. It's boring  :o and yet she loves to do it at bedtime, just not at other times. I have tried to get her to sit with me reading, but it's hard, she has so much energy she can't keep still for long, lol.

Oooh! So yesterday I got a B+ for an assignment that I effectively forgot to do. I'm moderately happy with that.  :D

I'd be quite happy with that!

 

 

I'm a bit grumpy about it because the only reason I forgot to do it was because the lecturer didn't really make it clear that it was a separate assignment.
