Christian Slater is back!  And hopefully this tv venture will have a longer life than the last one. 

 

The Forgotten is another crime drama in a sea of crime dramas, except this team's sold purpose is to put identities to Jane/John Does so that the chapter in the crime can be closed.

 

I didn't catch this on its premiere night because I forgot about it.  Instead I watched the drama fest that is Flipping Out.  It's a shameful guilty pleasure, but one nothetheless.  Seriously, that guy on Flipping Out is a Nut Bag!  And his total arrogance is funny to watch.

 

But I digress.  Back to Forgotten.

 

Pilot episode was interesting, but had a LOT of ground to cover with the identity investigation  I feel they sped through all of that. And they didn't really develop the killer story at all.  If they could have paired the content down a little more, it wouldn't have felt like such a whirlwind.  I am hoping that the show will find a stride because it's a different take on the usual crime drama that's on EVERY NIGHT.  And it's Christian Slater.  He's old now, but I still heart him like he was on Gleaming the Cube!

I like it so far.
