Hello, yes i am new, my husband is an avid WoT fan, and our anniversary is coming up soon, i want to get him a boxed set of the existing books, preferably hardbound (since we already have the paperback ones) but it seems no matter where i go, i just cant find them, any idea where i can look? thank you so much, this will mean a lot to him.

The only boxed sets of Wheel of Time are in paperback.  There are 3 boxed sets.

1st boxed set is of books 1 through 3.

2nd is of books 4 through 6.

3rd is of books 7 through 9.

It seems rare for any boxed set to be in hardcover format.  And it seems rare for a series this size to be in one boxed set.

The two combined seems very rare.

Encyclopaedia sets seems the only thing that fit both.

Edit:: If there are complete hardcover boxed sets of this series, bookstores and/or libraries might know.

If you go on Craiglist for Phoenix, AZ some guy is selling books 1 - 10 for $75 (also comes with pb book 11).  They look to be in good shape.  (Perhaps this guy would ship them) These books aren't going to be cheap so that is a good deal and then you can probably find book 11 somewhere for a decent price.  As far as a technical "box set" the poster above is right, these are only paperback and come in sets of 3.
